Shipping & Delivery

When do I need to order by to receive this month's mail?

All orders must be placed by the 24th of the month to be included in that month's shipment. Orders placed after the 24th will be included in the following month's mail.

When do shipments go out?

All envelopes for the month are shipped on the last day of the month (sometimes earlier) from Japan.

How do you ship the mail club envelopes?

We ship all items via Japan Post International Air Mail as standard stamped letter mail or lightweight parcel post in an envelope. This is a reliable and cost-effective service without package tracking.

Will I receive a tracking number?

No, we do not provide tracking numbers.To keep membership costs low and shipping efficient, we use standard international mail services that do not include tracking. This is common for letter/postal mail worldwide.

How long does delivery usually take?

Depends on the destination but expect it from 5 - 14 days from dispatch. you'll receive an email notification when your mail has been dispatched.

My mail hasn't arrived yet. What should I do?

Please allow a full 14 days (approximately 2 weeks)from the ship date (last day of the month) before contacting us about non-receipt. The vast majority of mail arrives within this window. If it has been longer, please email us and we will assist.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

Address changes can only be made if requested before the 24th cutoff for that month's mail. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Are shipping costs included?

Shipping is included in the membership price for all destinations. The cost of Japan Air Mail postage is built into your fee.

Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes! We happily ship our mail club envelopes worldwide from Japan. Please ensure your address is complete and correct.

How does the mail club work?

Each month I travel somewhere in Japan, collect real finds along the way, pack them into an envelope, and mail it to you on the last day of the month. You receive a tangible piece of our travels.

What kind of items can I expect?

Real finds from my travels—pressed flowers, postcards, festival scraps, shrine fortunes, handwritten notes. Always authentic, always from somewhere real, always different.

Will I receive the same things as everyone else?

Yes, the main items are the same for everyone each month. But since I hand-pack each envelope, small design variations may appear. Same journey, tiny personal touches.

Can I choose what I receive?

That's the magic, it's a surprise. Think of it like a letter from a friend. You don't know what they'll write, but it's always good.

How do you choose what goes in each month's mail?

I follow my curiosity. If something catches my eye and feels special—a beautiful stamp, a forgotten postcard, a local craft—I think, "Someone would love to hold this." That's how it gets in.

Can I pause or cancel anytime?

Absolutely. Log into your account and pause or cancel before the 24th of the month to avoid being charged for the next shipment.
